Personally, I'd rather be able to control the Fade instead of being at it's mercy like normal dreamers. Or not dream at all! [ It's scary, yes, but the Fade is also a place Hawke is deeply connected to. It's where his magic comes from. Even with the danger but that's been the case of his life from his magic first showed up. ] But I don't remember dreaming normally so I could be speaking out my ass.
