Also, it's customary where Steven's from to have cake. If you stick a small candle in it and light it, he's supposed to blow it out and make a wish.

He cannot eat cake. It has all sorts of animal things in it. You do know of his veganism, yes?

They make vegan cake, using all sorts of other ingredients that don't have milk or butter or eggs. I'll get a recipe from Henry, he's vegan too.

Is it good? I adore the man but his veganism is... not always tasty.

Some of what he makes is very good! Not all of it though.

I know how to make some of his favorite dishes. I will do that. And smother him in kisses! The perfect celebration.

Sounds like a great idea. We also floated watching movies together with some of his friends. Maybe we'll pick different days for that and your date. It's okay to celebrate twice.
